Welcome Back to the Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event, Day 1b

Wind back the clock and reset the levels for Day 1b of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event. Yesterday attracted 183 players and at least that many are expected in the Crown Poker Room today.

Ami Barer played on Day 1a and is making a good fist at defending his title as he soared through with 142,900. He looked calm, collected and had a big smile across his face all day. The same could be said for Jan Suchanek and why not? He claimed the overall lead with 163,400.

The same couldn’t be said for those who busted, including: Maria Ho, Matt Ashton, [Removed:17], Chris Moorman and former champs Oliver Speidel and Lee Nelson. In total, 97 players made it through to Wednesday's Day 2.

Once again, the plan for the day is to play seven 75-minute levels with a 15-minute break after each. There will also be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 4.

Day 2 of the $100k Challenge will be playing out from 2:15PM local time across the tournament floor and live updates can be found by clicking here. We’re expecting some of the players who bust throughout the day to jump into the Main Event, we’ll keep you posted on any movements.

Cards will be in the air at 12:30. Oh, and by the way, happy Australia Day!
