Welcome Back for Day 1c of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event

2015 Aussie Millions
2015 Aussie Millions

Two starting flights are in the bag and it's time to round things off today at Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event with Day 1c. Australia Day celebrations are over and we hope not to see too many hungover faces today!

The AU$100,000 Challenge reached the final table last night and will now pause until Saturday to allow the final eight, and all the players who played yesterday, the chance to play the Main Event today. Not only is the field expected to be bigger than Days 1a and 1b but it's also expected to be the most star-studded. More than 312 players are needed to show up today to top last year's 668 entrants.

Yesterday's play was full of huge pots with aces versus kings, royal flushes beating full houses and players flopping quads over full houses. The same amount of coolers can't be promised for today but the play is expected to be of a very high level. The player to catch is Ian Wassell who finished yesterday with a massive 229,500, good for the overall lead.

Once again, the plan for the day is to play seven 75-minute levels with a 15-minute break after each. There will also be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 4. Cards will be in the air at 12:30pm local time so join us back here then for what promises to be an exciting day of poker!
