Warne Rises From The Ashes

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Josep Maria Galindo Lopez min-raised under the gun and Octavian Voegele called right behind.

It folded to Shane Warne in the small blind and he made it 33,000. Only Voegele called.

The flop fell {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Warne led out for 36,000. Voegele called and the turn came the {6-Hearts}. Both players checked, but when the {a-Diamonds} river was revealed, Warne fired again, making it 46,000.

Voegele started speaking in tongues, but eventually folded two queens face up. Warne showed big slick.

Simard and Guerin Eliminated

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

"I ran with jacks into aces," Marie Simard said after she had just lost the remainder of her stack to table neighbor Christopher Soyza. Once again Simard had asked for the {K-Diamonds} after being all in short with the {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, but this time Soyza's {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} found an ace on the flop and held up with the board running out {2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

The pocket aces belonged to Katie Gooden, who is now among the top 10 stacks.

Didier Guerin was also eliminated. He got his stack of 70,000 chips in with the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Senthilkumar Subramaniam took the flip with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Guerin's pocket pair was counterfit on the board {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and the Aussie wished everyone good luck.

Warne Rails Rastogi

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Shane Warne defended his big blind against a 13,000-chip open from Rahul Rastogi on the button.

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Warne checked. Rastogi led for 16,000 and Warne flatted, before making it 26,000 on the {j-Diamonds} turn.

Rastogi shipped it in for around 60,000 and Warne snapped him off with the {9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} two pair. Rastogi had the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} gutterball and missed on a four-less river.

Dawley vs Mishra

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Jessica Dawley opened to 13,000 from under the gun and was called by Don Mishra in late position. On the flop {10-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, Dawley continued for 9,000 and was called before firing a second barrel on the {4-Hearts} turn for 16,000. Dawley then paid off the 26,000 of her opponent on the {8-Spades} river and mucked once she was shown {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} by Mishra.
