Perfect Start for Quoss

One of Germany's finest pros, Fabian Quoss, has just found a very quick double up in the first level of Day 3. We only caught the river action, but Andrew Hinrichsen and Jason Les helped us piece it all together.

Quoss raised before the flop and Robert Lieu three-bet, after which Quoss made the call. The flop came down {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the turn the {5-Hearts} hit and Quoss checked again. This time Lieu bet 7,000 and Quoss check-raised to 24,000. Lieu made the call and the river brought the {7-Spades}.

Quoss moved all in on the river for 54,200 and Lieu tanked for a long time before ultimately making the call.

Quoss showed {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Lieu threw his {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} face up in the muck. Lieu was left with very little, while Quoss' now sits on a big stack.
