Urbanovich's Bluff Fails

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts} we saw Dzmitry Urbanovich bet out 2,700 from the big blind. Tony Hachem was his opponent and the Australian pro made the call.

Urbanovich casually tossed in another 6,200 on the {K-Spades} river. Hachem tanked long and hard, said multiple things we didn't really hear, and eventually called.

Urbanovich showed his {A-}{4-} like he had the nuts. Hachem was a bit confused for a fraction of a second, only to proudly show his {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} after.

Zhang Knocks Out Wilkerson

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

WPT champion Dylan Wilkerson just limped from the small blind and Bobby Zhang raised from the big blind to 5,200. Wilkerson proceeded to move all in for 37,000 and Zhang called right away.

Zhang: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Wilkerson: {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Wilkerson was sent to the rail.

Huge Three-Way All-In Hand Cripples Pollak, Triples Savard

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jean-Pascal Savard
Jean-Pascal Savard

A huge hand just went down at Table 31 that certainly shook up the table dynamics.

Jean-Pascal Savard was enjoying a massage when he raised to 4,000 from the hijack. Shai Liu, perhaps steaming after doubling up Jason Les a short time earlier (at least that is how it could have been interpreted), then three-bet all in for 101,600 from the cutoff. Benjamin Pollak seemed suspicious and eyed up Liu before moving all in over the top from the button. The blinds both folded and then Savard surprised the entire table by snap-calling off for 105,900.

Savard: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Liu: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Pollak: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Liu actually held a legitimate hand, and his overbet would have worked against Pollak. Unfortunately for him, Savard held the granddaddy of all hands and scooped the pot after the board ran out a clean {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Pollak was crippled on the hand while Liu was eliminated from the tournament.

Jason Mercier Eliminated

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Jason Mercier first lost a big pot where he called a raise from the small blind and check called bets on all three streets on a board of {3-}{3-}{9-}{4-}{K-}. Mercier's hand wasn't shown as he mucked upon being shown {A-}{A-}.

Mercier was down to his last 11,000 after that hand. Then the cutoff opened for 3,700 and Mercier defended his big blind with {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Mercier open shoved his remaining stack. His opponent called with {A-Spades}{7-Spades} and the board came {K-Spades}, {2-Diamonds}.

Painful River Cripples Bardah

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

Bernard Beh just raised to 3,500 and the action folded to Ronnie Bardah in the big blind. Bardah three-bet to 8,800 and Beh moved all in for 55,200. Bardah wasn't too pleased having to a play a massive all-in pre flop, but he made the call.

Bardah: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Beh: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The flop brought out {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, keeping Bardah in the lead, and the {7-Clubs} on the turn took away some of Beh's outs. The river however, to much dismay of Bardah, brought the {A-Hearts}.

"And the river was a club!" Bardah yelled.

"Four outs, only four out!" Bardah continued, as he was left with just 2,000 chips.

Beh was pushed the pot and Bardah sat back down smiling, "I'm just complaining like a little baby."

On the very next hand a player raised to 3,500 and Bardah called all in from the small blind. The player in the big blind called, and Bardah lifted his cards up high, showing them to the player on his right in anticipation of the flop.

It was clearly visible Bardah held {Q-Spades}{2-Spades}, and he showed a big smile when the flop brought out {K-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Spades}. Bardah flopped a flush, but he had to wait out the action, which was checked all the way down on {5-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} river.

"Flopped it" Bardah laughed, showing his cards to the table.

"Nobody has the six or the ace of spades?" he added, but both his opponents mucked, keeping him in the game to mount a possible comeback. A few minutes later Bardah Tweeted the following, as his comeback is now well underway.

Ronnie BardahWas a 110k pot , left me with 2k , we triple and then we double! 16,800 at 1600!! #neverGiveUp #AussieMillions

Aces for Quoss

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From under the gun, Fabian Quoss raised to 3,800. An opponent in the hijack seat reraised to 6,200, and action folded back to Quoss. He reraised to 14,000, his opponent moved all in for approximately 55,000. Quoss quickly called with the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}, and his opponent had the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, and Quoss won the pot to bust his opponent and climb to 130,000 in chips.

Li Finishes Off Pollak

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action folded to Benjamin Pollak in the small blind and he moved all in for his last 7,000, which Victor Li decided to call from the big.

Pollak: {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Li: {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Pollak was behind, but he pulled ahead on the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. Still, Li flopped an open-ender to go with his over. The {A-Spades} turn was of no consequence, but the {7-Diamonds} river was. Pollak improved to two pair, but it was to his detriment as the same card gave Li a winning straight.
