"Your Tens Are No Good Bro!"

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Dario Sammartino raised his cutoff to 2,300 and small blind Chance Kornuth three-bet to 7,500. The big blind folded, Sammartino called.

Kornuth bet 6,200 on {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Sammartino called before both of them checked the {Q-Clubs} on the turn. The {J-Diamonds} completed the board and Kornuth checked. Sammartino bet 11,600 and Kornuth went into the tank for a bit.

"Why so small Dario?" Kornuth asked before he eventually tossed in the necessary chips to call.

"Your tens are no good bro!" Sammartino said with a big smile before he confidently showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, "Give me the money!"

Kornuth mucked and said he had ace-king. The pot went to Sammartino.

Jason Mo Eliminated

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Jason Mo was the first player to hit the rail today, busting with a set of queens to Grayson Ramage's set of aces, but bought back in to give it another go. Just now, he busted on that bullet as well.

Mo opened the cutoff for 3,200 and saw the small blind three-bet to 8,000. Mo moved in for 17,400 and his opponent called with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Mo revealed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and did not hit as the board ran out {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Since this is a single reentry event, Jason Mo has no option to buy back in again.

Baron Empties the Clip

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In a three-way pot, big blind Anton Astapau checked on {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}. Isaac Baron, presumably the initial raiser sitting in the cutoff, bet 3,300. Grayson Ramage called from the button, Astapau folded. The {10-Clubs} hit the turn and Baron continued for 10,000. Again Ramage called. The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Baron shoved for 36,400. Ramage tanked for a bit before he tossed his cards into the muck.

Dan Shak Eliminated

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

A railbird came walking over to the media desk and told us Dan Shak had just been eliminated. According to the onlooker, Dan Shak had gotten his chips in with {A-}{9-} against the {K-}{J-} of Erik Seidel. In the end, Seidel had a full house while Shak had just a single pair and that meant the end of it for the latter.

Kornuth Shows a Winner

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Dario Sammartino was first to act and raised to 2,000. Defending champion Chance Kornuth three-bet his cutoff to 6,600 and action folded back around to Sammartino who called.

Sammartino check-called a bet of 4,200 on the {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and check-called another 15,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Both checked the {10-Spades} on the river and Sammartino was about to show his cards when he saw Kornuth flip over {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Sammartino mucked and left the pot to Kornuth.
