A Double Up for Salter

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Jonathan Karamalikis & Jack Salter
Jonathan Karamalikis & Jack Salter

First to act, Jack Salter announced all in and Ben Lamb in the cutoff asked for a count. Salter's shove was for 82,500 and Lamb moved all in over the top to isolate successfully.

Jack Salter: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Ben Lamb: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

While the flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} gave Lamb top pair, it was still no good as Salter had middle set and locked up the double on the {K-Clubs} turn. A meaningless {2-Spades} on the river was a formality and the Brit was back in contention.

Yotsushika Doubles Through Segebrecht

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Kazuhiko Yotsushika
Kazuhiko Yotsushika

Kazuhiko Yotsushika raised to 12,000 and Claas Segebrecht three-bet to 38,000 from the button. With the action back on Yotsushika, he took his time, with Mustapha Kanit eventually calling time.

Yotsushika then four-bet to 88,000. Segebrecht moved all in and Yotsushika nodded before calling.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Claas Segebrecht: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

There was a King on the flop of {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} giving Segebrecht the lead, but Yotsushika clapped his hands together in celebration when the {j-Clubs} came on the turn. The river {a-Diamonds} rubbed salt in the wounds of Segebrech who handed over 190,500 chips to his opponent.

Salter Jams Up Stack

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Kitty Kuo gave up a three-bet pot against Brian Yoon and the latter soon after called a raise to 14,000 by Jan-Eric Schwippert. Yoon checked his option in the small blind on the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop and Schwippert checked behind. The {5-Spades} turn went check, check, and Yoon's bet of 22,000 on the {8-Hearts} river won the pot uncontested.

Ban Lamb raised to 11,500 and Roger Teska three-bet to 27,000. Jack Salter four-bet all in and Lamb folded, while Teska asked for a count. Once it was deemed to be for 207,000, Teska also sent his cards into the muck.

Yotsushika Pays Off Kanit

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushita raised to 10,500 and Mustapha Kanit defended his big blind, then checked the flop of {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Yotsushita checked behind and bet the {A-Clubs} turn for 15,000 when Kanit checked to him once more, the Italian called.

After the {2-Diamonds} river, Kanit bet 85,000 and Yotsushita gave it plenty of consideration before calling. Kanit rolled over the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush and that was good enough to win the pot.

Stefan Huber raised to 15,000 from under the gun. Marius Gierse had been patiently nursing a shortstack for the entire day, having come into Day 2 with just 11 big blinds, and moved all in around 48,000. Huber called.

Stefan Huber: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Marius Gierse: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Gierse looked good for most of the hand until the King hit {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts} meaning he was sent to the rail in 18th place.

Segebrecht Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Claas Segebrecht
Claas Segebrecht

While Kazuhiko Yotsushika had been able to chip back up, all the progress was canceled soon after when he clashed with Claas Segebrecht. After a raise to 15,000 by Yotsushika, Segebrecht three-bet to 43,000 and Yotsushika called. On the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Yotsushika checked from under the gun and called a continuation bet worth 32,000.

Both checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn and Yotsushika's bet of 50,000 on the {3-Clubs} river resulted in the shove of Segebrecht for 132,500. Yotsushika called, but quickly mucked his {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for the second nut flush after Segebrecht had turned over his {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit raised to 14,000 and Kazuhiko Yotsushika called on the button. Claas Segebrecht three-bet to 62,000 in the big blind. Kanit folded and Yotsushika called.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Segebrecht bet 125,000, effectively putting Yotsushika all in for his last 91,500. Yotsushika called.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Claas Segebrecht: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The turn {q-Spades} and river {q-Hearts} didn't help Segebrecht and Yotsushika doubled through his German opponent for the second time today.
