Chabra Doubles Then Busts
Level 17 : 3,000-6,000, 1,000 ante
Ajay Chabra had been nursing a short stack of under ten big blinds since before the dinner break and with the remaining 88 players guaranteed AU$15,600 he got his 19,500 chips in from under the gun. Norihiro Otani three-bet to 50,000 and the remaining players folded.
There was a jack in the window of a flop and the turn and river completed his double up.
Two hands later, Pim De Goede opened to 13,000 and Chabra three-bet all in. The big blind folded and De Goede called.
Pim De Goede:
"I think this might be it buddy," said tablemate Rory Young. "I'm rooting for you, but I think this might be it."
And so it was. An ace-high board of sent Chabra to the rail as De Goede added more chips to his stack.
