Sinclair Above Half a Million

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jack Sinclair has clearly pulled away on his table and holds nearly two times as many chips as Alex Trevallion, who he just battled with in a small pot.

Trevallion check-called a continuation bet of 10,000 on the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and they checked through the {q-Hearts} on the turn. Trevallion also checked the {a-Spades} on the river and opted to fold when facing a bet of 30,000 by Sinclair.

Rheem Jams Into Hallaert

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The turn showed {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Chino Rheem bet 40,000 out of the big blind to pick up a call by Kenny Hallaert in the cutoff. The {k-Clubs} fell on the river and Rheem now jammed for an effective 140,000 as that's what Hallaert had behind. No call of the Belgian followed and the chips were pushed to Rheem.

Zhang Doubles Through Ip

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The next short stack at risk happened to be Michael Zhang, who got his last 101,000 in after a {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop against Derek Ip.

Michael Zhang: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Derek Ip: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Zhang had two overcards and a flush draw at his disposal, and he gained more outs on the {q-Diamonds} turn. The {q-Hearts} river paired the board for the second time and that counterfeited the pair of Ip.

Yokosawa Surges into Lead

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Masato Yokosawa
Masato Yokosawa

Justin Liberto was under the gun and contemplating whether to call off his stack against Masato Yokosawa, who had shoved from his left for a pot-sized bet of 220,000 effective.

The board read {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Liberto cracked his knuckles and shrugged. After about another minute, he dropped in a stack of chips, but he couldn't beat {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a straight. The dealer flashed what looked to be {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} as Liberto gathered to exit.

Lybaert Busts on Three-Outer

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Bart Lybaert
Bart Lybaert

It appeared Bart Lybaert got it all in for about 130,000 by raising on the button and calling a shove from big blind Steve O'Dwyer, who showed {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Lybaert had a dominating {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and was in good shape to double on the {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop. Unfortunately for him, a {10-Clubs} turn left him in need on the river, and he missed his numerous outs when the {5-Diamonds} completed the board.

Duce Doubles Through Fast

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dietrich Fast check-jammed a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} against Joshua Duce and the Aussie called for his last 102,000.

Joshua Duce: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {q-Spades} turn changed nothing, nor did the {2-Clubs} on the river, and Duce doubled. Fast is still up for the day, though, and remains at nearly half a million in chips.
