McMahon Charges Ahead
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
David Bell opened to 2,400 from the hijack and Tom McMahon called on the button. Jan Kossyrev defended the small blind and the players went three-ways to the flop.
The dealer fanned the J♥K♥6♦ and all players checked to the 3♣ turn. Kossyrev bet 3,500 and Bell folded. McMahon also mucked his hand leaving Kossyrev to pick up the small pot.
Despite loosing a small pot in the hand, McMahon still sits way ahead of the pack. He has gained around 100,000 chips since returning to the field as the overall chip leader.
