Zhang Re-builds; Vanari Tumbles

After just securing a double up from his opponent, Michael Zhang was in another pot with Hengrui Zhang.

Hengrui Zhang opened to 60,000 from the cutoff and Michael Zhang defended the big blind.

The pair saw the 8♠9♦6♣ flop and checked to the 7♠ turn. Michael Zhang bet out 50,000 and Hengrui Zhang called.

A 8♠ river saw Michael Zhang move in 175,000 but didn't get a call from Hengrui Zhang who quickly mucked his cards.

On a table across, Stephen Woodhead opened to 60,000 on the button and Tim Vanari used a time bank card before three-betting to 175,000. Woodhead swiftly moved all in for 1,300,000 and Vanari sat back in his chair to contemplate his decision. He eventually gave up his hand, and had lost around half his stack since coming back from the break.
