While the no-limit hold’em streets are busy with the Opening Event, the first mixed-game action of the 2026 Aussie Millions has officially joined the party as the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E. is now underway.

The event kicked off with 26 entries on the clock, and with late registration still open, that number is expected to grow as mixed-game regulars drift into the field.

As things stand, the tournament is scheduled to play down to a winner today, meaning the first Aussie Millions champion of the festival could be crowned before the day is done.

Players begin with 40,000 in chips, battling through 40-minute levels, with late registration open until the start of Level 10. A single re-entry is permitted, giving players one extra bullet if things go sideways early.

For those who enjoy a bit of variety, this one ticks all the boxes. The rotation follows the classic H.O.R.S.E. format: Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud, and Stud Hi-Lo, with seven hands of each game played at seven-handed tables.

There’s also a chance the tournament could stretch into a second day if numbers climb.
