Hachem and Mizrachi Still Alive in $2,500 H.O.R.S.E.; Going into a Day 2
WSOP Main Event champions Joe Hachem and Michael Mizrachi are still right in the thick of it in Event #2: $2,500 H.O.R.S.E., with plenty of work left to be done.
The tournament was originally scheduled to wrap up today, but a field of 64 entries meant extra time was needed. Thirty-two players remain in contention, all chasing a share of the AUS $144,000 prize pool. The day is expected to close around 2 a.m. local time.
Hachem is sitting among the bigger stacks and sharing a table with Mizrachi, and the Aussie recently picked up a tidy pot off his fellow champion after making a wheel in Razz.
The top nine players will finish in the money, with a min-cash of $5,760, while $43,200 awaits the eventual winner. Not a bad way for someone to kick off their series.
Here are the payouts:

| 2 | $27,360 |
| 3 | $18,000 |
