Schollhorn Wins A$1,500 NLHE/PLO Mix at Aussie Millions
Lorenz Schollhorn came out on top of the A$1,500 NLHE/PLO Mix at the Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2026 Presented by CrownBet, defeating Timothy Carnes heads-up to claim the A$59,290 top prize.
The mixed-game event drew 185 entries, generating a A$240,500 prize pool, with the top 23 players finishing in the money. For Schollhorn, the victory marked his first recorded tournament win since 2024, when he captured the WPT Prime Gold Coast title for a career-best A$417,510.
The final day began with 30 players returning to Crown Melbourne, all chasing a spot in the payouts. Ben Pockett fell as the bubble boy after his pocket jacks ran into the pocket queens of Sebastian Trisch to send the remaining players into the money.
Start-of-day chip leader Tsugunari Toma was unable to convert his early advantage and exited in 15th place, while Xiaoyun Li bowed out in 10th place to set the official final table.
From there, Schollhorn worked his way through the final stages before closing out the win against Carnes to secure the title.
