Vince Moro Doubles Up

Vince Moro has just doubled through our chip leader Dag Martin Mikkelsen.

Moro's A-A-K-T made a straight on a board of J-T-4-Q-5 which was too good for Mikkelsen's A-Q-6-6. Moro is now up to around 24,000 in chips.

Jamie Pickering Surviving

Jamie Pickering just lost a big pot to Josh "JJProdigy" Field with Pickering's {J-Spades}

falling to Field's {A-Clubs}

on tha board of {10-Spades}

.

However after being left with only 7,000 Pickering was able to then double up on the very next hand. Pickering held {5-Spades}

against his opponent's {Q-Hearts}

. The board ran out {5-Clubs}

to give Pickering a straight and after a hectic couple of hands he is now back over 15,000 chips.

Brandon Schaefer Eliminated

Roy Winston raised it up pre-flop to 4,800 and Brandon Schaefer re-raised for his last 8,000. Winston made the call and the cards were shown:

Schaefer was in front with his kings but the board ran out 9-7-2-8-J and Winston ended up with a straight to take the pot and eliminate Schaefer from today's event.
