Michael Pesek and JJ Hazan got their money in on the flop of .
Pesek held for monster combo-draws but trailed the two pair of Hazan who held .
Hazan was looking to avoid a plethora of cards to take an enormous chip lead, however the was not the card he wanted to see as Pesek hit the nut flush. The on the river gave Pesek the massive pot to put him amongst the tournament's chip leaders.
As we round the 2 a.m. mark, no one seems sure how long tonight's play will actually last. The original schedule proposed to play down to the final table or 2 a.m., whichever came first. However with 13 players still remaining, and most players and staff looking for a reduced day tomorrow, there are still discussions of how long we will play for this evening. Playing down to the final nine seems the most likely.
Josh "JJProdigy" Field has just doubled up through David Bach. Field has over 25,000 and would now be considered a good chance to make his first ever live final table.
In recent hands, Matt Graham was eliminated by Sam Khouiss in 14th place, while a short-stacked John Delassandri managed to triple up through both Dag Martin Mikkelsen and JJ Hazan.
With 14 players remaining the two tables are currently racing off the black 100 denomination chips. Check out the "Chip Counts" page in the right hand menu of this page for the updated chip counts of our remaining players.
We're now swtiching games once again to Omaha Hi-Lo.
JJ Hazen held on a board of and didn't feel that his jacks were going to be good but when Josh Egan made the call and Hazen showed his hand, Egan simply mucked his cards and headed to the rail.
