Gary Benson's Premium Hand

Gary Benson and three other players took a flop of {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The action checks to Benson and he bets out the fixed amount of 50 chips. One player calls and they see a turn of {J-Clubs}. Benson fires out the limit of 100 and his opponent makes the call. The river is the {5-Hearts} and Benson fires a third time with a bet of 100. His opponent folds and Benson flips over {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs} saying "You know I only play premium hands!".

Gobboboy Rakes Early Pot

Jimmy "gobboboy" Fricke is back at work today after winning Event#3 late last night and the chips continue to be pushed his way.

Fricke check-raised two players on a Q-T-4 flop and then bet for value on both the turn and river. One player called him down and Fricke showed Q-8 which was good enough to scoop a tidy pot.

Pot Limit State of Mind

David Gorr made a late arrival on table 31 and was immediately in the thick of the action. When an early position player bet 50 into the middle on a king-high flop, David immediately said raise and tossed two purple 500 denomination chips into the middle. The dealer informed David that this was fixed limit and the table burst into laughter. David was coming off a 2nd place finish in last night's pot limit event and appeared to still be in pot limit mode! His opponent quipped "How did you finish second?" before throwing his ace into the muck!
