Table Talk: Mick the Hoon

It's never a dull day when Mick the Hoon is out your table. He's always chatting it up and is well versed in a multitude of topics. He has an interesting table including Sam Khouiss (bounty player) to his immediate left. Also at his table are Michael Binger (bounty player) and Michaela Johansson.

Mick the Hoon had called an all in with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. His opponent held Q-10. He kept asking the dealer for low cards after a flop of {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

"Keep them low!" he yelled as the dealer burned, then dealt the turn card of the {2-Spades}.

"Keep them low!" he screamed as the dealer dealt the river which was the {J-Hearts}.

The Hoon's hand held up as he turned to the dealer and said, "Thatta boy! You wanna kiss?"

Unabomber Doubles Up

A late position player raised to 5,000, Phil Laak moved all in from the small blind for 10,000 and the LP player called. Laak turned up {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} while his opponent showed {8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Spades} and Laak got a much-needed double-up to 21,000.

Table Talk: The Unabomber

On a board of {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}, BoDog Ari bet and his opponent folded. He showed the {Q-Diamonds} which prompted Phil Laak to make a comment.

"That's the first time you showed a card all day. Does that mean all the other times you were bluffing?"

BoDog Ari laughed, as did most of the table.
