Onay Calls Correctly
Level 4
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Elisa Onay opened to 1,600 in the cutoff and Sammy Lucisano called on the button. Javed Etaat defended his big blind and checked after seeing the 8♣K♦6♦ flop.
Onay continued for 3,000 with Lucisano tossing in the call. Etaat then check-raised to 11,000, with Onay calling and Lucisano getting out of the way.
A pair of checks on the 6♣ turn led to Etaat leading out on the 8♦ river for 14,000. After taking a moment, Onay made the call. Etaat quickly flashed his cards before sliding them into the muck, with Onay showing K♥J♠ for two pair to claim the pot.
