Khanh Le
Khanh Le

Khanh Le was stood up in disbelief after being eliminated from the APO Main Event by Laurence Hall.

Le had held KK against the KJ of Hall, but the A1082Q board saw Hall river a straight to send him to the rail.

"Better to be lucky than good!" said Hall and he took down the pot.

Higor Seibel opened to 12,000 and was called by Jason Pritchard.

Pritchard check-called 12,000 on the 1095 flop and the pari checked down the 5J runout.

"Nine," announced Pritchard.

"I win," said Seibel, tabling Q9

"Jeez, you are running hot," said Pritchard flashing a 9

"Don't you ever get tired of winning?" David Sebesfi asked Seibel.

"Might go for a sesh in the gym," replied Seibel who now sits with over two million chips.

Liar Liar, Pants on Fire!

Laurence Hall
Laurence Hall

Georgina Vuksanovic opened from the cutoff to 16,000 and was called by Laurence Hall on the button.

Martin Finger then three-bet all in from the big blind for 372,000. Vuksanovic announced call and Hall tanked before eventually folding.

Martin Finger: AQ All in
Georgina Vuksanovic: 1010

"I folded nines," said Hall.

The K99 flop changed nothing, but the A turn boosting Finger's hopes of staying alive.

The flop would have given Hall quads, but there was an uproar of laughter as the river came the 9, with quad nines now impossible.

Even Vuksanovic, who was filming the hand, couldn't help but join in the laughter as a sheepish Hall rejoined the table.

"Liar, liar pants on fire!" said Dylan Wayne.

"It might have been eights," said Hall, rejoining the table.

No Miracle Runout for Dias

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Lauchlan Swann attempted to open from early position but it was called a limp. Jim Pizanias and Victor Dai both called.

"I'll raise and help you out," Marcial Dias said before looking at his cards and shoving for 200,000. Swann then re-raised all in for 590,000 and both other players folded.

Marcial Dias: 88 All in
Lauchlan Swann: KK

Swann flopped a full house on the 44K flop, but player chatter fell silent after the 8 came on the turn. Dias could hit the last eight in the deck to stay alive but the river was the 6 and he was eliminated.
