On a board of 6♦4♥10♠A♥, there were around 30,000 chips in the middle when Ilavenil Arumugam checked from the big blind and Collin Tran fired out 14,000 from early position. Liam Jehu was sitting in middle position and called, then Arumugam also came along.
The 9♦ completed the board and again Arumugam checked, the Tran bet 29,000. Jehu wasted little time in dropping in a call, and Arumugam quickly folded.
Tran then showed that he rivered two pair with A♣9♣, and Jehu looked disgusted as he flicked his cards into the muck.

On a flop of K♠9♥2♠, Adam Kharman had his final 27,000 in the middle and was called by Andrew White. Dale Marsland then put in a raise, White shoved, and Marsland called.
Adam Kharman: K♦2♦
Andrew White: K♣Q♦
Dale Marsland: Q♠J♠
Marsland had a gutshot plus a flush draw and could eliminate two players if he connected with either. Kharman was the favorite for a triple-up but suddenly was staring elimination in the face when the 4♠ fell on the turn, giving Marsland a flush. The 5♠ river changed nothing, and both Kharman & White headed to the payout desk.

The action was picked up on the turn with the board reading A♦K♠7♥5♥ with around 35,000 in the middle. Lachlan Crilly fired out 25,000 from the big blind and Kahle Burns called on the button.
When the K♦ paired the board on the river, Crilly checked and Burns took some time before he bet 41,000. It was Crilly's turn to think and after a while, he called.
Burns then showed the rockets with A♠A♣, and Crilly's A♥9♥ went into the bin.

Daniel Klinger raised to 42,000 — leaving himself a single t-500 chip behind. Just behind him, Ling Liu re-raised and every one else got out of the way. Klinger called all in and hands were revealed.
Daniel Klinger: K♦9♦
Ling Liu: K♠J♣
Klinger found himself dominated, and the A♠A♥J♥7♠8♦ runout left Liu best with aces and jacks for the knockout.

Mario Stanic opened from under the gun and was called by Shengfeng Ma in the big blind.
Both players checked on the J♣K♦7♥ flop and then Ma led out for 12,000 on the 5♠ turn. Stanic called.
The 10♥ completed the board and Ma sized up for a 33,000 bet on the river. Stanic looked him up and Ma tabled 10♦7♦ two pair.
A frustrated Stanic tossed his hand into the muck, claiming he held ace-jack.
"What a hand..." Stanic said.

Yuanting Wang opened from under the gun and action folded to Mario Stanic in the hjijack, who shoved for an approximately 50,000. It was then folded back around to Wang, who called to put Stanic at risk.
Mario Stanic: A♥8♠
Yuanting Wang: A♠Q♦
The Q♥6♥9♠ flop left Stanic drawing nearly dead, but he did get a bit of a sweat after the 5♦ turn improved him to a gutshot draw on the turn.
It wasn't meant to be, however, as the 9♥ river bricked out to eliminate Stanic early in Day 2.
