Bhatt Getting Bullied

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

It wasn't a great restart after dinner for Pranav Bhatt as he got three-bet three hands in a row!

In the third hand, Bhatt opened the hijack to 50,000 and Yuanting Wang three-bet to 155,000. Bhatt called.

The flop came 9710 and a continuation-bet of 180,000 from Wang got the job done as Bhatt laid it down.

Joyce Doubles Through Murray

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Toby Joyce was already all in on the button against Liam Murray, who was in early position, on a flop of 649 and cards were turned face up.

Toby Joyce: KKAll in
Liam Murray: 98

It was a near coin flip for Joyce, who would need to fade flush and pair outs to double up and keep his Main Event going.

The K turn provided some relief as it improved Joyce to a set, and the A river changed nothing to award Joyce the double up.

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

Kahle Burns opened to 50,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 115,000 by Toby Joyce in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Burns, who called.

Burns then check-called a 60,000 bet from Joyce on the 657 flop before leading out for 60,000 himself on the 9 turn. Joyce called.

The [4d completed the board and Burns sized down for a 50,000 bet. Joyce tanked for a few minutes before opting to lay his hand down.

"It would have been an ambitious bluff," Joyce said to Kahle.

Stott Drills the Turn to Double Through Wang

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Peter Stott shoved for a bit over 400,000 on the button and just behind him, Yuanting Wang also went all in from the small blind to put Stott at risk.

Peter Stott: J9All in
Yuanting Wang: AK

The K78 flop left Stott drawing slim, but the 10 turn immediately improved him to an unbeatable straight as the table let out a collective "Ooooh!"

An irrelevant A filled the river and Stott was awarded the double up.

Toby Joyce is storming up the counts after just taking down another chunky pot and is well over two-million chips now!

The action was picked up on the 810Q3 board where Joyce checked from the small blind and Steven Zhou fired 125,000 out of the big blind. Chao Duan folded, and Joyce called.

A 4 on the river drew a check out of Joyce, then Zhou went small with a bet of 100,000. Joyce took some time and then counted out a raise of 410,000 before putting it over the betting line. Zhou called in a flash.

Joyce then revealed a flush with K8, and Zhou's hand went into the muck.

Burns Wins a Five-Way Pot

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

There was a five-way limped pot with only Luke Edwards missing to make it a family pot. The flop came 366 and Kahle Burns led out for 30,000 from the small blind, which only Liam Murray called on the button.

On the A turn, Burns continued to bet and fired out 150,000. Murray contemplated for a few moments then elected to fold, earning Burns the pot.

Van Wijk Catches Spano's Hand in the Cookie Jar

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Armon van Wijk
Armon van Wijk

Armon van Wijk opened to 30,000 from early position and he found one caller in Robert Spano, who was in the big blind.

Spano check-called a 30,000 bet from van Wijk on the 10210 flop and a 100,000 bet from van Wijk on the 3 turn.

However, Spano led out for 225,000 after the 10 river brought trips on board and van Wijk went into the tank.

Van Wijk counted out a call and pondered his decision a bit before giving his calling chips a kiss and placing them into the middle.

Spano tabled AJ, which was no good against van Wijk's 99 to award van Wijk the pot.

Stott Doubles Through Dong; Luo Eliminates van Wijk

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Louis Issa

Nelson Dong was in the big blind and faced with a shove for around 650,000 from Peter Stott, who was in the hijack, on a flop of 459.

Dong tanked for a while before reluctantly placing in a call.

Peter Stott: 1010All in
Nelson Dong: A9

Stott found himself in good shape with an overpair to Dong's nines, and the K7 runout kept Stott best for the double up.

At another table, Armon van Wijk ended up all in preflop with ace-king against Louis Luo, who held aces.

Van Wijk couldn't catch a miracle runout and fell victim to the preflop cooler to be eliminated.
