Meadowcroft checked again, then called a bet of 7,000 from Phan. On the 10♠ river, Meadowcroft bet 20,000, leaving himself just 6,000 behind.
Phan showed the K♥ and folded, telling Meadowcroft that he can't possibly be bluffing.
The birthday boy dragged the pot and continues his march toward the money.
