After Ian Auvil limped in middle position with 9♥9♣, Bogdan Zavu moved all in for 300,000 with A♣J♥.
Chip leader Chris Davis then just called in the big blind with K♥K♦, a move that could potentially lead to his demise.
That's because the flop came 10♥9♠8♥, bringing Auvil a set. Better yet for him, Davis then moved all in with his kings for 1,700,000 effective, and of course Auvil happily called.
The board completed with the 2♣ and 5♥, Sending a huge pot to Auvil, and almost secondarily, eliminating Zavu.
Davis meanwhile is still alive, but on the short stack.
