Blinds 1-2500-2500 Raised pre to 13500 in late position with 7s-6s. One caller. Flop is
5-4-2 two diamonds. I lead with a 50k bet. Maybe a lil high, guy tanks for like 2-3 minutes, finally shoves for another 77k on top. Now I go into the think tank. Counted it out and would let me with only like 40k so finally I make the call. He flips jacks. I’m behind 2 on the turn and 3 on the River to give me the straight.

Paoloco Spikes a Six

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The player in late position moved all in for 21,000 to put herself at risk and John Paoloco three-bet on the button, forcing folds from everyone behind.

Late position: A9 All in
John Paoloco: A6

The 6 appeared in the window with the 2 and 5 completing the flop. The turn landed the K and the river brought the J and Paoloco's pair of sixes propelled him over the 200,000 mark.

Scotto Sets the Trap with Aces

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jan Scotto limped in early position and the player in the hijack moved all in for less than ten big blinds. Action folded back around to Scotto who called with the covering stack.

Hijack: K10 All in
Jan Scotto: AA

The flop came A95 with Scotto improving to a set, but the hijack still had outs with a backdoor flush draw.

The turn landed the A giving Scotto quads and the meaningless J rolled off on the river.
