PokerNews caught up with Ian Auvil after getting eliminated here in Day 1b. He mentioned that he hasn't been able to get anything going here at the 2025 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship but plans on hopping back in for a fresh starting stack.

Auvil took down the 2023 Bar Poker Open Florida World Championship and final tabled the 2024 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship. If he can get some momentum going on his second bullet, he will be a player to watch out for.

With over 30,000 in the pot and the board reading K♥6♦9♣4♦, Glover moved all in for just over 17,000.

"Will you show me?" asked the late position player. Glover shook her head no.

After some thought, late position folded, flashing the K♣ and the pot was pushed Glover's way.

Jonathan Ma was seen stacking his chips after having won a three-way all in with quads.

With cards still on their backs, Ma held 7♦7♣ on a runout of K♣2♠7♠7♥J♠, besting the A♠K♦ and K♥4♥ of his two opponents.

PokerNews caught up with Ma after the hand to get a brief recap of the action. According to Ma, the money went in on the flop.

After the hand, dealer Daniel De Anda rolled up his sleeve to reveal a seven tattooed on his arm for good measure.

Action went three-ways to a flop of 3♥A♦J♠ in a hand between the cutoff, the button, and Jamie Guzman in the big blind.

With just over 5,000 in the middle, Guzman led out for 2,500 and the cutoff raised to 6,500. The button got out of the way and Guzman called.

The 3♦ turn and K♥ river both went check-check and Guzman tabled the winner with A♠10♥ for two pair, aces and treys.

Paul Russo limped in middle position, the small blind completed, and the big blind checked.

The flop of A♠3♥8♣ checked through to the 4♦ turn. It checked over to Russo who bet 800 and only the small blind called.

The river brought the 10♦ and the small blind check-called a bet of 1,600 from Russo.

"Two pair," said Russo as he tabled A♦8♠ for two pair, aces and eights to scoop the pot.
