Fast Start for Recinos

Three players limped before Ardany Recinos checked his big blind option to see the 4AA flop. All four players checked around and the dealer revealed the J turn.

Recinos followed a check from the small blind by betting 1,000, which found a single call in middle position. The 2 river saw Recinos lead out for 2,100, taking down the pot as his opponent folded.

After starting the day with 26,000 chips, the representative of Ev'rybody's Pub in North Providence, Rhode Island was off to a strong start.

Runner-Runner for Banyaniye

Three-way action to the JA6 flop had Patrick Banyaniye facing an all in for 8,100 on his left. After another opponent folded across the table, Banyaniye took a moment before sliding in the call.

Early Position: A6 All in
Patrick Banyaniye: 43

Banyaniye's flush draw was trailing a pair of aces, but the 5 turn brought some additional straight outs. The dealer then flipped over the 7 river, completing Banyaniye's straight to earn the elimination.

Maria Swift
Maria Swift

Charity qualifier Maria Swift was one of four players who saw the 8J7 flop, facing a bet of 2,000 across the table.

Swift did not take long to toss out a raise to 5,000, leaving the action heads up as her opponent moved all in. Swift called and the hands were turned up.

Opponent: AJ All in
Maria Swift: 87

Swift's two pair turned into a full house on the 8 turn, with the 6 river completing the board. Swift raked in the pot as her opponent hit the rail.
