The €600 Battle of Malta Main Event continues this Tuesday, June 2, at Casino Malta, with just 24 players returning for Day 4.

From a field of 2,667 entries that generated a €1,186,962 prize pool, the remaining contenders are now battling for one of the eight coveted seats at Wednesday’s final table.

After Day 3, three players have separated themselves from the pack with Stavros Passias leading the way. He won a monster pot with quads against a full house to bag 10,760,000, but he is closely followed by Italians Angelo Censabella (8,800,000) and Daniele Renzi (7,345,000). They both spent much of Day 3 on top of the counts, before Passias overtook them during the last minutes of the day.
