Updated Chip Counts; Shenoda Cracks 100K

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
George Shenoda
George Shenoda

George Shenoda appears to be the first player to crack 100,000 after he busted Ben Scrogins and another opponent to nearly triple up.

Scrogins was quick to buy back into the tournament and now sits at the same table with Shenoda to his immediate left.

Charles Doubles Through Krnyaich

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Lonaisi Charles was all-in preflop for around 15,000 against Phillip Krnyaich, who had him covered.

Lonaisi Charles: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Phillip Krnyaich: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to pair Krnyaich's queen, though he was still behind the kings of Charles. The board finished out {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Charles doubled up with Cowboys after getting dealt the same hand the previous level.

"It's kings every time! Just deal me kings one time," Krnyaich pleaded with the dealer.

Shenoda Shows a Bluff; Might Have Had the Best Hand

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
George Shenoda
George Shenoda

Ben Scrogins opened to 900 in middle position and George Shenoda three-bet to 2,500 on the button. The action folded back to Scrogins, who called.

Scrogins checked on the flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Shenoda checked back. Scrogins checked again on the {5-Spades} turn and called a bet of 2,800 from Shenoda.

The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Scrogins led out for 5,200 on the board-pairing card. Shenoda wasted no time raising to around 25,000 and Scrogins quickly folded.

Shenoda flipped over {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a missed flush draw to win the pot with queen-high, but it actually might have been a value raise as Scrogins claimed to have {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, though he did not show.

Charles Shows Kings

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Lonaisi Charles limped in from under the gun and Phillip Krnyaich raised to 1,200 from the button. The big blind flat-called, while Charles quickly raised to around 4,000.

Both players folded, and Charles was kind enough to show he had it with {k-}{k-}.

Wardlaw Lays Down Top Pair After Overbet from Cummins

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Charles Wardlaw raised from the small blind and Norman Cummins defended from the big blind.

The flop came jack-high with two clubs on board and Wardlaw continued with a bet of 700. His opponent snap-raised all-in for around 23,000, which caught Wardlaw offguard.

"It's like how much into what?! Daaaayum!" Wardlaw observed. "What an overbet. And you've been playing so passive all day. Top pair no good?"

At this point in the hand, Wardlaw tabled {j-Spades}{10-Spades} face-up as he thought through his decision. Wardlaw, who played in the opening event a few days ago with a heap of cash in front of him, eventually folded his top pair before pulling out a shiny watch and golden card protector to up the intimidation factor.

"I need to let him know I'm gonna call next time!" said Wardlaw.
