Hoefer checked on the flop of {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} and called a bet of 70,000 from Rodriguez. Hoefer checked on the {j-Clubs} turn and Rodriguez checked back.

The river brought the {6-Spades} and Hoefer fired a bet of 240,000. Rodriguez, wearing a pair of noise-canceling headphones, then startled the table when he yelled "RAISE, 980,000."

Hoefer took a moment before flicking his cards to the muck.

"Man, that was loud. I wonder how loud you will be with a million," commented Todd Ivens.

Benji Felson opened to 80,000 from middle position before Zachary Donovan jammed from the big blind. Felson, with 775,000, called off for his tournament life.

"How do you have aces again?" asked Donovan, as he saw his opponent table his cards.

The aces were never threatened and Felson scooped after the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} runout.

Donovan then shipped in his stack in back-to-back hands, he received no action but was able to reclaim back some lost chips.
