The middle position player opened to 1,200 and was called by the player on his direct left. Nathan Russler called from the cutoff, and the small blind completed as well. Joe Wilson then jammed for 22,100 from the big blind.

Action folded to the small blind who asked for a count.

"I might be the crazy one here," said the small blind before he added that he was "pot committed."

The small blind called and the cards were tabled.

Tice Calls Clock on Sitbon

Julien Sitbon opened to 1,200 and only the button called.

The button called bets of 1,100 and 1,700 on the flop and turn for the final board to show J♠6♣6♦10♣7♦. Sitbon checked, and the button fired out 5,200 which sent Sitbon into the tank.

Sitbon tried to engage with some table talk, but the button remained tight-lipped for the most part.

After about two minutes, Landon Tice called the clock, and the tournament director came over to begin the countdown.

The TD got to the count of zero, and Sitbon's hand was declared dead.

Hallay Makes Interesting River Play

With 3,800 in the middle on the K♣K♠5♥ flop, Axel Hallay checked in the cutoff, prompting the button to bet 1,200. Hallay made it 3,200 and was called.

Hallay continued for 6,000 on the Q♥ turn and again was called. On the Q♣ river, Hallay downsized to 2,000, which induced his opponent to make it 9,000. Hallay then jammed for 18,000 total and the button quickly folded.

The PokerNews Team was stopped in the tournament area by Will Givens in between hands, and he had a couple of things to say...

"Hey, I just wanted to say I love what you guys are doing, great job on the updates. I wasn't even going to play this event, but I read a couple of hands from yesterday, especially that Keating hand with the five-seven, and it made me want to come fire, so here I am."

And it just so happens that Givens is also one of the largest stacks in the room, as he is currently sitting at 160,000.

The 2♦ river checked through to showdown. The button had queen-high with their Q♣9♣ while Peters took in the pair with a pair of threes as he held the 4♠3♠.
