Jon Gisler opened to 5,500 from the cutoff but was then raised by David Gonzalez to 15,000 from the button. Action folded back to Gisler who made the call, commenting that he wasn't good enough to fold.
The flop came out 2♣8♥J♠. Gonzalez continued for 9,500 and Gisler check-called to see the turn 9♠.
Gisler checked once more to Gonzalez who fired again for 30,000, but this time it got the job done as Gisler quickly surrendered his cards.

Bob Shao opened to 5,500 from under the gun before Jeffrey Farnes three-bet to 14,500 from the big blind. Shao reraised to 33,500 after some thinking time and Farnes called.
Farnes check-called for 14,500 on the 7♣7♥4♠ flop which brought in the Q♦ turn. Farnes checked and, after a minute, Shao sized up to 28,000. Farnes went into the tank before announcing his all-in for around 115,000. Shao snap-called and the cards were tabled.

256 players remain of the original 307 to start Level 2, which means that 51 players were lost in the first level of play.
Jared Jaffee opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Tuan Phan, Bahbak Oboodi and David Lee from the hijack, button and big blind respectively.
Lee led out for 6,000 on the 10♣5♦3♦ flop which prompted Jaffee to raise to 21,000. Phan and Oboodi folded before Lee jammed for around 30,000. Jaffee quickly called.
David Lee: Q♦J♦
Jared Jaffee: K♣K♣
Jaffee would need to dodge Lee's flush outs to score the knockout and he managed to do so as the board ran out with the 6♠5♠.
