Andrew Ostapchenko opened to 500 under the gun. Frank Simone to his left put in the call, as did Philip Saracino from the cutoff. Anthony Farelli defended his small blind, and Georgios Ballis did the same from the big.
Action checked through on both the flop and turn, leaving the board to read 2♦8♦9♣7♠6♥. At this point, Farelli led out for 500 into the field. Ballis folded, before Ostapchenko went massive, opting for 20,000 as his raise size. It folded back to Farelli, who tabled the 5♥ face up.
"Super straight?" he asked. Ostapchenko just smiled.
