Hands #17-20: Lotsa Folding Going On

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #17: It was folded to Keven Stammen on the button who made it 95,000 to go. Tony Dunst folded from the small blind and Ryan D'Angelo folded while saying "what a terrible hand." Stammen showed him {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and got a laugh from D'Angelo.

Hand #18: Abraham Korotki raised to 85,000 from under the gun + 1 and picked up the blinds and antes when everyone folded.

Hand #19: Byron Kaverman took down the blinds and antes with an early position (UTG+1) raise to 90,000.

Hand #20: Everyone folded and Abraham Korotki received a walk out of the big blind.

Hands #14-16: Boss Bullied

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #14: Keven Stammen opened to 95,000 from under the gun, but folded after Tony Dunst three-bet to 250,000 in the next seat over.

Hand #15: Ryan D'Angelo opened to 90,000 and Abraham Korotki flatted from the cutoff, bringing a {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop to the table. The flop was checked through, as was the turn ({9-Clubs}) and river ({j-Hearts}). D'Angelo turned over {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Hand #16: Abraham Korotki opened to 85,000 from the hijack, Tony Gregg flatted from the button, and the flop fell {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Kortoki led into the "End Boss" with a 130,000 wager and Gregg called, bringing the {9-Diamonds} to the table on the turn. Korotki slowed down with a check to Gregg, who methodically cut out a stack of 290,000 and slid it forward. Korotki called to peel the {4-Clubs} on the river and quickly shoved all in for right around 1 million to fold Gregg.

Hands #9-13: Nothing Much

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #9: Tony Gregg raised to 85,000 in the cutoff, Ryan D'Angelo defended his big blind, and D'Angelo check-folded to a bet of 90,000 on a flop of {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Hand #10: Gregg raised to 85,000 in the hijack seat, Curt Kohlberg called in the big blind, and the duo checked on a flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. The turn was the {7-Spades}, and Kohlberg check-folded to a bet of 75,000.

Hand #11: D'Angelo took down the blinds and antes with a raise to 90,000 on the button.

Hand #12: Gregg was second to act, and raised to 85,000. Abraham Korotki made the call in the big blind, and both players checked on the flop ({a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}) and the turn ({a-Clubs}). They also checked on the river ({8-Spades}), and Korotki was awarded the pot with {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a rivered pair of eights.

Hand #13: The action folded to Korotki, who completed from the small blind. Byron Kaverman put in a raise to 130,000, and Korotki folded.

Corey Hochman Eliminated in 9th Place ($97,048)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Corey Hochman
Corey Hochman

Hand #8: It was folded to Keven Stammen on the button who thought a moment before raising it to 95,000. Corey Hochman in the small blind moved all in for approximately 500,000. Tony Dunst quickly folded from the big blind and Stammen was just as quick to call as he turned over a legitimate hand with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

Hochman also had a legitimate hand with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} but he could only shake his head as each card was dealt, knowing he was in dire needs. The board would run out {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Hochman would be eliminated in 9th place while Stammen moved to 3.6 million in chips, which is good for the chip lead at this point.

Hands #4-7

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #4: Curt Kohlberg raised to 80,000 from the hijack, Abraham Korotki folded from the small blind and Byron Kaverman called from the big blind. The two checked it all the way down on the {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board and Kaverman would win the pot with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a pair of tens.

Hand #5: It was folded to Abraham Korotki on the button who made it 85,000 to go. Byron Kaverman folded from the small blind and Tony Gregg from the big blind and Korotki picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #6: Byron Kaverman opened to 90,000 from the button and Tony Gregg re-raised to 250,000 from the small blind. Keven Stammen folded from the big blind as did Kaverman and Gregg wins the pot.

Hand #7: Ryan D'Angelo opened to 90,000 from under the gun +1. Everyone folded and D'Angelo picked up the blinds and antes.

Brock Parker Eliminated in 10th Place ($63,081)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Brock Parker - 10th Place
Brock Parker - 10th Place

Hand #3: Brock Parker open-shoved for 623,000 from early position and the action folded around to Curt Kohlberg on the button. He made the quick call to bring on a showdown.

Parker: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Kohlberg: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Parker made his stand with a real hand but he was crushed nonetheless, and the final runout of {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} left him with an inferior full house. He hit the rail in 10th place for a $63,081 score, while Kohlberg neared the 2.5 million mark

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #1: Abraham Korotki opened to 105,000 from early position and the action folded around to Corey Hochman in the cutoff. He decided on a three-bet to 250,000, and only Korotki called the reraise, bringing a {q-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop to the table.

Korotki then check-folded to a 125,000 bet by Hochman to begin the final table action.

Hand #2: Tony Gregg opened to 85,000 from middle position, but folded after a three-bet shove from Ryan D'Angelo.
