Day 1b Started
One of the most anticipated tournaments on the 2019 Borgata Fall Poker Open (BFPO) schedule kicked off yesterday with Flight A. Out of 253 entrants, 53 got chips in a bag for Day 2. Today, the $300,000 GTD Event #11: $350+$50 Almighty Stack NLH continues with the second of four starting flights — Flight B begins at 11 a.m.
Here’s a look at the remaining daily schedule for this event:

Players start with an almighty stack of 100,000 chips. Late registration and re-entries will remain open through the break at the end of Level 12. The plan for each flight is to play through Level 17. All those levels will last 30 minutes while Levels 18+ will be upped to 45 minutes. Levels at the final table will increase to one hour each.
Last year this tournament attracted 1,073 runners and created a $416,324 prize pool. Anna Antimony from Ft. Lee, New Jersey emerged victorious to capture $91,586 in prize money for first place and the coveted Borgata Open trophy, which was her third.

Greg Fishberg is one of those few players to defend a title at Borgata, year over year — and it happened to be the Almighty Stack.
He won the $400 Almighty Stack NLH event in February of 2017, ($70,000) then won the same event one year later in February 2018 ($95,007). Those were special events run outside of Borgata's five yearly Open Series tournaments, so he has yet to win an Almighty Stack during an Open Series.
He has two other Borgata titles to his credit for a career total of four and more than $1.6 million in reported tournament earnings. Fishberg already cashed in Event #3: $600 Deepstack Kick-Off NLH, so he's on the board for this series.

Eric Siegel already has one final table under his belt during this BFPO series. On Saturday (well, early Sunday morning) he made the final table of Event #6: $400 Saturday Series Deepstack NLH, finishing 5th out of 506 entrants for $9,620. That score pushed his reported tournament earnings beyond $955,000.
During the 2016 Summer Poker Open, he was part of a deal that ended the $450 Almighty Stack NLH event, taking 2nd place and $53,807, so he's got proven results in this super-deep tournament format as well.
Siegel's got a total of four Borgata titles and is a regular on the felt, but not a full-time pro. Nevertheless, he can hang with the best of them, as evidenced by his results over the years. He has his own swimming pool company, which gives him plenty of time to play in the off-season.
