Jackson Reaches New High Point Through Taylor

Paul Volpe opened to 135,000 in the cutoff with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, David Jackson looked down at {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and elected to three-bet to 410,000. Stuart Taylor four-bet to 1,200,000 with his {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Jackson flatted to the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Taylor checked to Jackson, he bet 680,000 and Taylor check-called with his pair of jacks. A {k-Spades} landed on the turn, action checked to Jackson who tapped the table behind.

An {a-Diamonds} hit the board as a river card, Taylor checked and Jackson fired in 850,000 with his set of aces. Taylor instantly mucked, shipping the monster pot to Jackson who has reached a new chip plateau.

Markov Sends Some Over to Jackson

Nikolai Markov opened to 125,000 from the hijack with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, David Jackson called in the small blind, holding {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Peter Walsworth stuck around from the small blind with {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

The flop rolled out {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, action checked to Markov who bet 125,000 and Jackson was the only one to call. An {a-Clubs} fell on the turn and both players checked to the {3-Diamonds} river card.

Jackson fired in 195,000 and Markov called. Jackson tabled his flush and Markov quickly mucked his pair of jacks, shipping the pot to Jackson.

Peter Walsworth looked down at {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}, he raised to 135,000 and Nikolai Markov called on the button with {k-Spades}{10-Spades}. Paul Volpe defended from the big blind with his {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the dealer spread out {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on the flop.

Action checked to Walsworth, he bet 175,000 and Markov folded to Volpe who called. A {3-Spades} peeled off on the turn, both players checked and the {a-Spades} hit the felt as a river card.

Volpe tapped the table and Walsworth bet 380,000 with his rivered ace. Volpe hit the tank and in the end, he elected to fold, sending the pot to Walsworth.
