Stone Eliminates Taveras-Garcia in Dramatic Fashion

Three players limped in and Katie Stone raised to 15,000 from the button. Two players called and they went three handed to the {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop.

Gilberto Taveras-Garcia moved all in for 84,000 and the middle position player folded. Stone snap called turning over {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for top set and Taveras-Garcia showed {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

"One time" Taveras-Garcia said with a smile and his wish came true as the {5-Hearts} hit the turn. Taveras-Garcia improved to a straight to take the lead and Stone would need the board to pair on the river.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board and the table erupted as Stone improved to jacks full of fives sending Taveras-Garcia to the rail.
