Jonathan Diolosa Eliminated in 11th Place ($13,116)

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jonathan Diolosa
Jonathan Diolosa

Another battle of the blinds saw Jonathan Diolosa (sb) get it all in holding {9-}{8-} against Brittney Barnes (bb) who had {8-Spades}{6-Spades}. The board came {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-} giving Barnes the straight and the river was a brick. She chipped up to more than nine million.

Jonathan Diolosa finished in 11th place, earning $13,116. His elimination prompted the redraw for the final table so the final ten players are relocating to Table 1.

Rollercoaster Ride for Dyment

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Ilya Dyment
Ilya Dyment

Ilya Dyment (button) and John McGuinness (sb) got it all-in pre-flop and Dyment's {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} was slightly ahead of McGuinness' {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The runout was clean until the river, when a king landed to give McGuinness a pair and the double up. (Jon Diolosa was in the big blind and commented that he folded pocket jacks on that hand.)

Dyment was left with only 65,000, which went in on the next hand. John Diolosa called from the small blind, then Brittney Barnes 3-bet from the big blind, successfully isolating. Her {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} was ahead of Dyment's {k-Spades}{3-Spades}, but another king on the river shipped the triple to Dyment, bringing his stack up to 380,000.

Then Dyment was under-the-gun and all-in for 380,000, getting called by Diolosa (button) and Frank Marasco (bb). They checked down the board of {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Diolosa tabled pocket treys. Marasco had {k-}{2-} but no diamond. Dyment produced the {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to take the pot with a flush and just like that, he's back up to 1.32 million.

Allen Chang

In a battle of the blinds, Allen Chang jammed from the small and Frank Marasco looked him up from the big. Chang's {q-}{10-} needed help against the {a-}{7-} of Marasco.

He got none, however, and Marasco took the pot with his unimproved Ace-high.

Allen Chang reported to the rail in 12th place, earning $13,116.
