Botticello Sends Lacey Out the Door

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

John Botticello opened and Patrick Lacey moved all in for almost 45,000. Pat Lacey called for less and the two tabled their hands.

John Botticello: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and Lacey needed to hit to stay alive. A {5-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river did not improve Lacey's hand as Botticello took down the pot with his big slick, eliminating Lacey from the tournament.
