Muller Off to a Good Start

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

With 1,300 in the pot and a flop of {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, Werner Muller checked from the small blind and Leonardo Palermo did the same from the big blind. Greg Fishberg, who was in the under-the-gun position, then bet 800. The player in the hijack called, as did both Miller and Palermo, and all four players watched the dealer burn and turn the {6-Spades}.

Action checked around and then repeated itself on the {9-Clubs} river. Muller was first to show and tabled the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a set, and it was good as the other three players mucked.

Brown Gets Paid from Flacco

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Action folded to Robert Flacco on the button and he put in a raise to 300. Derrick Brown defended his big blind and the duo took a flop of {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Brown check-called a bet of 500 and then check-called one of 1,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn.

After the {5-Diamonds} appeared on the river, Brown led out for 3,900 and Flacco thought for a bit before making the call. Brown rolled over the {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for the nuts and Flacco sent his cards to the muck.
