Sang Kim Pulls in Back-to-Back Juicy Pots

Sang Kim raised to 2,100 from early position and the player on the button called. Elan Chabi then three-bet to 7,300 from the small blind and both his opponents called to see the flop, which came down .

Chabi continued for 10,000, both Kim and the button called, and the appeared on the turn. Chabi slowed down with a check and Kim opted to be a hefty 60,000. That did the trick as both his opponents folded. Kim showed the for a turned set and Chabi claimed to have folded pocket kings.

In the very next hand, Kim managed to double his entire stack after getting it in with the on a board reading . His opponent mucked and Kim shipped the double to vault up the chip counts.

Williams Building a Stack

A player in middle position limped for 600 and Darren Keyes called from the small blind. Donald Williams then checked his option from the big and the flop fell

Keyes checked and Williams bet 1,700. That did the trick as both his opponents folded.

Not a very exciting hand but it did give us a good excuse to update you on Williams' chip count, which is flirting with double the starting stack.

Florida's John O'Neal Enters the Fray

Just before the break, Florida’s John O’Neal took his seat in the tournament, which marks the first time he’s been spotted at the 2019 Borgata Poker Open.

O’Neal is well known in Florida for both his cash game and tournament prowess. Regarding the latter, he has amassed just shy of $300,000 in career earnings with a career-best of $30,898 for finishing third in the Card Player Poker Tour VII bestbet Jacksonville $1,100 Main Event this past May.

Other highlights on his tournament résumé include seventh in the 2016 Tampa Winter Poker Open $1,650 Championship for $27,873, fifth in the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Summer Poker Open $550 NLH Deepstack for $26,345, and fourth in the 2017 MSPT bestbet Jacksonville $1,100 Main Event for $25,652.
