Lunique Petiote
Lunique Petiote

Lunique Petiote had been flying a bit under the radar but that is certainly no longer the case.

Petiote has vaulted to the top of the chip counts and he's now sitting behind a mountain of 20,000,000.

It's a neck and neck battle for the chip lead between Petiote and Arnaldo "AG" Gordon as day two winds down.

The big stacks are currently sharing the felt so there's plenty of potential for a monster pot if these two big stacks should elect to clash.

John McGuinness
John McGuinness

In one of the last hands before break at the previous blind level John McGuinness raised to 500,000. The big blind defended and they went heads up to the {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop.

The big blind check called a bet of 600,000 from McGuinness and the {2-Spades} hit the turn.

The player checked and McGuinness tossed out a bet of 1,500,000. His opponent check-raised all in for close to 5,000,000 and McGuinness called.

The player turned over {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for bottom set but he was drawing to just one out as McGuinness showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a set of fives.

The {3-Clubs} river card sealed the deal for McGuinness who earned the knockout and dragged in the monster pot.

Siddiqui showed {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} but he was dominated by Dever's {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Dever improved to a full house sending Siddiqui to the rail.
