Also making it through was BorgataPoker.com Sponsored Pro Katie "KatieStone" Stone, who made it through with 179,649.
Stone doubled early at the 400/800/100 level when “syderange” called under the gun and “rprmoo” did the same two spots over. Stone called out of the small blind, “BOVIC” checked his option, and the flop came down .
Two checks saw “syderange” bet 3,000, “rprmoo” raised to 10,500, and Stone check-raised all in for 55,159. “BOVIC” folded, “syderange” got out of the way, and “rprmoo” made the call.
“rprmoo”:
Stone:
Stone was ahead with middle set but “rprmoo” had flush and gutshot straight draws. Neither the turn nor river hurt Stone and she doubled to 117,318.
The surviving players will return to action on Sunday. In the meantime, there are daily Day 1 flights between now and then.
