Namit Patel Goes Back-to-Back at Borgata Summer Poker Open
Namit Patel is making the most of a busy week at the Borgata Summer Poker Open.
After taking down Wednesday night's $250 Triple Green Chip Bounty, Patel returned on Thursday to win the $250 Monster Stack Super Turbo, defeating a 30-entry field for another title.
Patel earned $2,160 after striking a heads-up deal with Michael Krop, who collected $2,100 as the runner-up. Jeffrey Perzan finished third for $1,020, while Richard Micewicz had another deep run to his series with a fourth-place finish worth $720. Micewicz had already claimed two nightly event titles earlier in the festival.
Patel's run at Borgata isn't over yet, either. After his latest victory, he will be returning to the tables on Friday for Day 2 of the $580 Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty, where he is among the 76 players guaranteed a payday.
