Bohn Snuffs Out Conniff

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Asher Conniff
Asher Conniff

The flop read {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. There was a chunky pot of 215,000 already in the middle. Asher Conniff checked from the big blind. Blake Bohn was under the gun and pushed forward a stack of big chips to force Conniff to risk his entire stack if he were to call.

"I don't think I can fold here" said Conniff. "I was planning to"

"Either way we will both be fine. Life will go on" said Bohn in response. A few seconds later, Bohn called.

Asher Conniff: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Blake Bohn: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Conniff had the lead but the turn was the {a-Clubs} and the river the {k-Hearts} to send him away and bring the field one closer to the bubble while Bohn collected the chips into his huge stack.

Feingold Put in Bizarre Spot

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Howard Feingold was in the cutoff and checked his cards. Frank Pasquale was on his left on the button and claimed to have seen Feingold's cards when he peeled them in a loose manner. The floor was called to see if Feingold had to expose his cards to the whole table even though only Pasquale saw them.

The floor ruled that Feingold did indeed have to show the cards to everyone, which was the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Action was then on the boistrous Feingold and he now had to make a decision with his five big blind stack nearing the bubble.

"What a spot this is?" he said amongst several other animated reactions from him. Eventually, he moved all in after the clock was called on him. Pasquale thought for a little bit and folded. The blinds also got out of the way and Feingold was able to pick up the blinds despite all of the drama.

Dinner Break

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The remaining players are now an extended 90-minute Friday night dinner break. It may be a nervous break for some as only a few eliminations are needed for the bubble to be reached when play resumes at ~8:40 p.m.

Meacham Gets Value

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Three players were on a flop that read {5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. From early position, Joey Weissman bet 17,000, Tony Sinishtaj folded in the small blind. Jeremy Meacham was in the big blind and raised it up to 41,500 which Weissman called.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}. Both players checked. The river was the {3-Diamonds}. Meacham led out for 68,000. Weissman called after about a minute.

Meacham tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for two pair which won the pot.

Meanwhile at the same table, Ryan Dodd is now over the 1 million mark.

Klassen Collecting

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yi Klassen
Yi Klassen

Action came in on the river as the board read {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} with a pot of about 85,000 in it. From the big blind, Yi Klassen was facing a bet of 90,000 from her opponent who was under the gun.

She made the call after thinking for around 30 seconds. Her opponent showed the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for nothing while Klassen tabled the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, which got her a few compliments from her tablemates on the call.

A few hands later her momentum continued as she forced her opponent to fold when she bet 43,000 on a board of {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} to add more chips to her stack.

Mancini Gets Call From Elias

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The board read {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} on the river. From early position, Raymond Mancini jammed all in for about 137,000 into a pot of 95,000.

Darren Elias was in middle position and thought about it for several moments. Eventually, he decided to call.

Mancini tabled the {k-Spades}{6-Spades} flush which bested Elias's {j-}{j-} which he turned over in frustration.
