Zinno Finished by Lang

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

Anthony Zinno was the last eliminated player before the three-table redraw as his {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} came up begging against the {k-}{k-} of Grant Lang.

The board provided some sweat as two diamonds came on the flop but a third would not come and Zinno was gone.

Vaysman Slays Duraku to Take Big Chip Lead

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Lanny Vaysman
Lanny Vaysman

Lanny Vaysman raised from middle position. Sead Duraku three-bet out of the big blind and Vaysman called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Duraku led with a bet. Vaysman raised it up quickly. Duraku tanked for quite a while before announcing all in and Vaysman snap-called.

Sead Duraku: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Lanny Vaysman: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Vaysman had the lead with a flopped set but would need to dodge diamonds. The turn made diamonds irrelevant as the {a-Spades} came off to fill up Vaysman and leave Duraku drawing only to the case ace for quads. But the river was the {10-Clubs} and just like that Duraku was gone and Vaysman became the big chip leader of the tournament.

Aubrey Williams
Aubrey Williams

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. From the button, Gregory Nerenberg jammed all in and was instantly called by Audrey Williams.

Gregory Nerenberg: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Aubrey Williams: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Williams had flopped broadway and was relieved to see she was not against diamonds as the board filled out {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to end the day for Nerenberg and give Williams a boon to her stack.

Normand Clocked and Eliminated

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Frederic Normand
Frederic Normand

Action was joined on the river with the board reading {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. From the big blind, Xiaofeng Hu moved all in with a pot of about 300,000 in the middle. Frederic Normand was in the small blind and had the decision for his tournament life on him.

While Normand thought there was a lot of commotion as the players at the table and other tables got talkative when the floor announced a change in plan to the break structure. Through the loud chaos, Normand did not realize the clock had been called on him by someone and he suddenly had just 15 seconds to make a decision. But the floor reset the clock as Normand protested as the loudness continued as he tried to think about the decision.

Eventually, he called. Hu showed the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two-pair. Normand angrily tossed his cards into the muck as his day was over.
