Thai Ha Eliminated in 4th Place ($11,970)

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 30,000 ante
Thai Ha
Thai Ha

One-time dominant chip leader Thai Ha was down to 430,000 chips when he raised to 210,000 in the small blind. Ray Henson moved in from the big blind and Ha called off his last 220,000.

Thai Ha: JJ75
Ray Henson: AKK10

Henson's bigger pair had him in the lead, and after the 1065 flop Ha had only improved with an alternate pair of fives.

The turn 2 changed nothing, and the 4 on the river eliminated Ha, who adds a fourth place finish in this event to his Monster Stack victory earlier in the series.

Wieland and Daly Pick up Big Hands

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 30,000 ante

Jason Daly raised the button with AQQ10 to 210,000. Carson Wieland woke up with AKK10 in the big blind and three-bet to 615,000. Daly made the call and over 1,300,000 was already in the middle.

The flop came 943 and Wieland quickly bet the pot. This was followed by an almost equally quick fold from Daly to send the pot to Wieland, who is now over four million chips.

Weiland Hero Calls to Leave Ha Short

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 30,000 ante
Carson Wieland
Carson Wieland

Carson Wieland raised to 180,000 in the small blind with J986 and got a call from Thai Ha in the big blind with AKQ6.

The 1098 flop gave Wieland bottom two pair, and he checked it to Ha who held overs and a gutshot.

Ha checked back and the turn brought the 5, adding a flush draw to Wieland's holding.

Wieland checked again and now Ha bet 180,000. Wieland called to see the river K.

Wieland checked a final time and now with a pair of kings but with a very coordinated board in front of him, Ha bet 550,000.

Wieland thought for a few minutes with his nines and eights, and eventually sniffed out Ha's move, calling to win a sizeable pot which sent Ha's stack under a million for the first time since the start of the day.

Ha Hammers at Henson

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 25,000 ante

Thai Ha raised to 100,000 in the small blind with KQ87 and got a call from Ray Henson in the big blind with AJ74.

The flop came QJ4 giving Henson bottom two pair, but it was Ha who continued for 225,000.

Henson was the shortest stack at the table and he gave his decision plenty of thought before electing to fold on the coordinated board, ceding the pot to Ha who crept back toward two million chips.

Danylo Turov Eliminated in 5th Place ($9,250)

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 25,000 ante
Danylo Turov
Danylo Turov

After Jason Daly raised under the gun to 125,000 with Q1097, Carson Wieland called in the cutoff with KQJ10.

Danylo Turov looked down at AQ88 in the small blind and moved his last 210,000 into the middle.

Daly and Wieland both called to put Turov at risk.

They checked the A102 flop that gave Wieland a world of outs with flush and straight draws.

The 10 fell on the river, giving Daly and Wieland each trip tens and leaving Turov drawing dead to an ace.

The river favored Wieland however, giving him the nut flush with the 4. He and Daly both checked as Wieland won the pot to eliminate Turov and take the chip lead for the first time in the process.

Daly Takes a Big One From Ha in Big Stack Clash

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 25,000 ante

Jason Daly raised to 120,000 on the button with AK76 and got a call from Thai Ha in the big blind with A933.

On the 762 flop, Ha checked his flush draw and Daly bet 125,000 with top two pair.

Ha then check-raised to 375,000 with his draw and Daly called.

On the 8 turn, Ha attempted to continue his ruse, betting 450,000. Daly thought briefly and then potted it.

Ha couldn't call and he fell to a distant third in the chip counts, while Daly rocketed back over three million.
