Mingus Makes a Flush; Giardina Coolered in First Elimination of the Day
Around 4,000 was in the middle on a board reading 
with four players holding cards. Steve Le Peau checked in the big blind and Dan Mingus bet 2,200 in middle position. Jay Jesse folded in the cutoff and then Vincent Griboski called on the button. Le Peau folded, taking action heads up to the river 
where Mingus bet. another 4,200 and Griboski found a call.

, hitting a flush on the river to take down the pot.
On an adjacent table, Michael Giardina got his stack in with the nut flush on an unpaired board against Todd Sprague, who woke up with a straight flush and eliminated Giardina.
Thomas Fuller was then balanced onto Table 6, with Rich Dixon also entering the tournament and taking his seat at the same table. Giardina then re-entered moments later and was seated at Table 8.
