Weinhoff Wins a Three-Way All In

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Brian Wienhoff
Brian Wienhoff

A player in middle position open-jammed for 14,000 and Dan Mingus three-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff. Brian Wienhoff then re-jammed for 66,500 on the button and Mingus called.

Middle Position: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Brian Wienhoff: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Dan Mingus: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, ultimately giving Weinhoff kings up on the river to scoop both pots and send a player home in the process.

"I Should Have Been More Specific"

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Dapo Ajayi
Dapo Ajayi

Dapo Ajayi re-jammed his stack of 28,000 in the cutoff over an open from Jason Remshardt in the hijack, who called.

Dapo Ajayi: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Jason Remshardt: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

"It's a fair fight," said Ajayi after seeing Remshardt's holdings. The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

"Keep 'em black," asked Ajayi. The dealer complied, bringing the turn {k-Clubs}.

"Done," said a player from across the table. Unfortunately for Ajayi, such a term would wind up defining his tournament life as the river {j-Clubs} came, another black card, to improve Remshardt to a set of jacks and eliminate Ajayi from the tournament.

"I should have been more specific," Ajayi said with a laugh before making his way from the tournament area.

Four Tables Remain as Collins Falls

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Greg Collins
Greg Collins

Greg Collins was just seen being eliminated from the tournament by Bobby Garcia after Collins got his stack of 54,000 in on a flop of {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Collins was under the gun and Garcia was on the button.

Greg Collins: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Bobby Garcia: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Garcia completed his flush draw on the turn {7-Spades} to pull ahead and the board failed to pair on the river {8-Diamonds}, leaving his hand best over Collins' set to eliminate him from the tournament.

Upon his elimination, the floor called for a high card to break Table 12, bringing the field down to 36 players across four full tables.

Other eliminations and a few chip counts have also been posted below, with Eric Smidinger matching the stack of tablemate Edwin Parker to have the two largest stacks in the room.

Parker Showers Two To Add To His Towers

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Edwin Parker
Edwin Parker

Noomis Jones open-jammed for 14,500 under the gun and Edwin Parker called, next to act. Another player re-jammed for 38,000 in middle position and Parker matched the difference after about 15 seconds of thought.

Noomis Jones: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Middle Position: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Edwin Parker: {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

"One jack," requested Jones as he stood up and retrieved his backpack from the back of his seat. Instead, Parker connected with the flop {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} to take away two of Jones' outs.

The middle-position player remained in front though, primed for more than a double as the turn {5-Diamonds} came on board. The river then fell {a-Clubs} to give Parker aces up, spelling elimination for both other players involved in the hand.

Parker had been seen with a tower of chips totaling around 200K prior to the hand and now has more than a quarter-million, making him the largest stack in the room with less than 10 minutes remaining in Level 10.

Jensen and Saltz Each Double Through Ajayi

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ben Jensen
Ben Jensen

Dapo Ajayi opened to 3,500 under the gun and was called by the cutoff. Rich Dixon called on the button as well before Ben Jensen re-jammed for 17,500 in the big blind. Ajayi then jammed over the top and found no further takers.

Ben Jensen: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Dapo Ajayi: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Jensen found a backdoor straight on a runout of {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to score the double at Ajayi's expense. Ajayi then doubled Josh Saltz on the very next hand to leave him with
