Lindpere Wins a Flip

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante
Joel Lindpere
Joel Lindpere

A player opened for 1,000 from early position. Joel Lindpere three-bet to 3,200 from the button before Kristian Zitting four-bet jammed for a huge stack covering both players. The early position opener folded and Lindpere called.

Kristian Zitting: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Joel Lindpere: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Lindpere was in a flip situation with his tournament life on the line. The {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop gave Lindpere a decent advantage in the hand. He doubled up after the {6-Clubs} came on the turn followed by the {7-Hearts} on the river to give him a straight.

Hatipoglu Triples

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Bahadir Hatipoglu was short on chips but now has more than a starting stack. Rain Molderkivi bet 1,500 into a pot of around 6,000 after the {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} came on the flop. Hatipoglu jammed for 9,000 and both Nils Harstad and Molderkivi called.

Hatipoglu got out of the seat as the {8-Hearts} came on the turn. Molderkivi checked-folded after Harstad bet 9,000.

Bahadir Hatipoglu: {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Nils Harstad: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Hatipoglu needed some help and got back into his seat after he {5-Hearts} came on the river to complete the straight.

"I knew that would happen," said Hatipoglu to the table as the dealer pushed him a big pile of chips.

"The Good News is You Have a Table"

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Sander Eentalu bet 3,500 into a pot of a bit more after the {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs} came on the flop. Bartlomiej Grabowskicalled before Knut Gronli raised to 9,000. Eentalu paused for a short while before he folded and Gronli won the pot after Grabowski did the same.

Defending Coolbet Open Main Event champion Mathias Siljander was also on the table and spoke to Grabowski after the hand.

"The bad news is that you lost some chips," said Siljander as he slid a drinks table over. "The good news is you have a table."

"I'd rather have the chips," Grobowski said with a smile.

Hoyforslett Not Getting Bullied

Level 5 : 150/300, 300 ante

Lise Hoyforslett bet 3,200 into a pot of almost double that with the {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} on the board. Alf Jacobsen raised to 10,000 and Joel Lindpere went into the tank before he folded.

"Are you bullying me?" Hoyforslett asked her opponent in a friendly way.

"Always," responded Jacobsen.

Hoyforslett eventually made the call and both players checked after the {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Hoyforslett turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and won the pot after Jacobson tossed his hand away and said, "You're good."

"You are so Mean!"

Level 5 : 150/300, 300 ante

Martin von Zwegibergk opened to 700 from middle position and got a call from Ole Nilsen from late position.

Von Zweigbergk fired out for 900 after the {5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} came on the flop and got a call. The same pattern emerged after the {k-Diamonds} came on the turn with Von Zweigbergk betting 2,500 and getting a call from Nilsen.

"You are so mean!" said Von Zweigbergk who was joking with his opponent throughout the hand.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Von Zweigbergk checked. Nilsen bet 3,000 and won the hand after Von Zweigbergk folded.

Mordovin Wins a Big Pot

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Terje Stensones opened to 600 from early position. Sergei Mordovin called from the cutoff. Vishal Joshi three-bet to 2,200 from the small blind and both players called.

Joshi bet 3,500 after the {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} came on the flop and both players came along for the ride. Joshi and Stensones both checked after the {5-Clubs} paired the board on the turn before they both called a bet of 8,000 from Mordovin.

The action checked to Mordovin after the {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river and he jammed for about 23,000. Joshi paused for 30 seconds before he folded and Mordovin won the pot after Stensones tossed his hand away as well.
